After using Mac OS X for quite a while now, I finally came to understand why it is called “The most advanced OS”. I came to realize just how true it is…
In case you don’t know, I’ll let you know a few facts about Mac OS X
- Mac stands for Macintosh, it is an Operating System, just like Microsoft Windows.
- Mac OS X means it is currently the 10th version of it.
- Mac is often called “The most advanced OS”, widely regarded as an OS that is technologically 5 years ahead of Microsoft Windows.
- Users who’ve used Mac claims that they’ll never head back to Windows no more, unless forced.
In Mac, almost nothing lags, due to its smart handling of system resources. Unlike Windows, Mac does not hog on to system resources like mad which, as a result, would reduce battery life and increase power usage.
A feature which makes me really love the Mac is the way you install and uninstall softwares. Now rethink how you normally install softwares on Windows, remember all the Next, Agree, Next, Next, Finish? Then do you recall how you uninstall a software? Uninstall, Next Next Finish, go around computer and search for left over files, not to mention all the registry entries it left behind. In Mac, how do I install a software? I pull the Icon from the installation disk image to my Applications Folder, DONE. How do I uninstall it then? I pull the Icon from my Applications Folder into the Trash Can, DONE. No left over files, no left over registry values, no crash, no wasted hard disk space, no mess.
