Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard

After using Mac OS X for quite a while now, I finally came to understand why it is called “The most advanced OS”. I came to realize just how true it is…

In case you don’t know, I’ll let you know a few facts about Mac OS X

  1. Mac stands for Macintosh, it is an Operating System, just like Microsoft Windows.
  2. Mac OS X means it is currently the 10th version of it.
  3. Mac is often called “The most advanced OS”, widely regarded as an OS that is technologically 5 years ahead of Microsoft Windows.
  4. Users who’ve used Mac claims that they’ll never head back to Windows no more, unless forced.

In Mac, almost nothing lags, due to its smart handling of system resources. Unlike Windows, Mac does not hog on to system resources like mad which, as a result, would reduce battery life and increase power usage.

A feature which makes me really love the Mac is the way you install and uninstall softwares. Now rethink how you normally install softwares on Windows, remember all the Next, Agree, Next, Next, Finish? Then do you recall how you uninstall a software? Uninstall, Next Next Finish, go around computer and search for left over files, not to mention all the registry entries it left behind. In Mac, how do I install a software? I pull the Icon from the installation disk image to my Applications Folder, DONE. How do I uninstall it then? I pull the Icon from my Applications Folder into the Trash Can, DONE. No left over files, no left over registry values, no crash, no wasted hard disk space, no mess.

Elections 2008

With all the tests, assignments and exams going on recently, I am supposed to be too busy to give a damn about the Elections going on here, but NO! To me, I believe that the Elections actually comes first because with a good government, comes good ministers, comes good education, comes good lecturers, and also comes good results. :D

I’ve been following up with the results all night long last night and I have to admit that the results are really great and I’m definitely delighted to see the opposition winning so many seats.

And if you don’t know, the oppositions have won 37% of Parliament Seats and 39% State Seats this year, an incredible result compared to the last elections, where the opposition only won 9% of Parliament Seats and 10% of State Seats.

This round along, voters have finally realized the importance of having opposition in the government. For so many years, BN have been facing almost no competition at all and now, they feel the wrath of the voters, urging for a better government and threatening to change them if they do not improve.

In conclusion, I do not believe that the opposition will win fully in this election but expected the them to give BN a tough fight. At least this time round BN will feel threatened and for opposition to have more seats in the parliament means a louder voice in parliament. Honestly, I’m quite satisfied in the results this time and hope to see more changes (for the better) in the government.
